They teach elementary school students to speak Spanish and create computer tutors that teach algebra. They study how films shape our culture and learn about pollution's impact on the history of American cities.

Celebration of Diversity Series
The Celebration of Diversity Series features sessions focused specifically on diversity, equity and inclusion as well as the identities of those students who are Black & African American, Latinx & Hispanic, part of the LGBTQ+ community, and first-generation.

- First Gen Session with our FIRST Together @CMU Program whose mission is to enhance the overall success of first-generation college students on our campus by offering opportunities to support academic, professional and campus engagement experiences
- LGBTQ+ student, faculty, and staff informal discussion about the community led by the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion
- Black/Latinx Student Leaders Session will provide prospective students with the opportunity to attend current student panels and learn more about the experience of our Black or African American and Latinx or Hispanic students on campus
- Parent Session for parents, guardians and family members of prospective students with Carnegie Mellon's Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion and Student Academic Success Center.

Remote Information Sessions
Our Remote Information Sessions are live events designed for you to learn more about the Carnegie Mellon experience. Led by our admission counselors, these hour-long webinars feature student stories, faculty highlights and detailed information about academics, student life and the admission and financial aid processes. You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Remote Admission Counseling Session
An admission counseling session allows rising seniors to seek guidance or ask questions of the Office of Admission. Our intention is to assist students who are approaching the time of application, who have questions about Carnegie Mellon's unique colleges/programs, as well as the admission process. We only encourage students with specific questions about Carnegie Mellon or the admission process to register for an admission counseling session. Admission counseling sessions last about 20-30 minutes and can be accessed via Zoom or phone.

When you can't make it to campus, we've got you covered. Our Tartan Ambassadors are hosting live Virtual Campus Tours so you can experience Carnegie Mellon from anywhere in the world. You'll be able to explore our campus while hearing more about the Carnegie Mellon experience.

Virtual Residence Hall Tours
Living on campus is a big part of the Tartan experience. Join our Tartan Ambassadors as they showcase common first-year on-campus housing options at Carnegie Mellon during the Virtual Residence Hall Tour. The tour will last approximately 45 minutes and give you a chance to ask the Ambassadors what it's like to live and learn at CMU.

Tartan Talk Student Panels
Tartan Talk is an online student panel series where interested visitors can learn more about the student experience at Carnegie Mellon University. Each Tartan Talk will feature our Tartan Ambassadors talking about their student involvement within academics, activities, research, the city of Pittsburgh and more.
