Information Session

Led by an admission counselor, the Information Session highlights our academic programs, the student experience, and the admission and financial aid processes. The session will last approximately one hour and 30 minutes.

In-Person Campus Tour

The In-Person Campus Tour will allow you to explore our beautiful campus with our Tartan Ambassadors. During this 60-minute walking tour, you'll get an insider's perspective on student life while seeing classrooms, laboratories, traditions and unique campus architecture.

In-Person Residence Hall Tour

The In-Person Residence Hall Tour will take you through a typical first-year residence hall with a Tartan Ambassador. The 45-minute tour will dive into residence life at Carnegie Mellon, highlighting the first-year residence experience and what to expect living on campus.

Admission Counseling Session

An admission counseling session with the Office of Admission isn't an interview, but is rather an informal conversation with an admission counselor. A counseling session allows rising high school juniors and seniors to seek guidance or ask questions of the Office of Admission. Our intention is to assist students who are approaching the time of application, who have questions about Carnegie Mellon's unique colleges/programs, as well as the admission process. We only encourage students with specific questions about Carnegie Mellon or the admission process to register for an admission counseling session. Admission counseling sessions last about 20-30 minutes.
